During the Little Ice Age, the Nevado del Tolima increased in area, but has since been shrinking. One of the ways this can be measured is through the altitude at which we find the limit of the glacier... and it has only continued to receed upward since the end of the Little Ice Age. Given the current state of things and the current rate of change, how much longer will we be able to call the Nevado del Tolima a nevado?
