About My Education:
I earned my Clinical License (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in 2023.
I earned my Master of Social Work in 2005 (University of Kentucky).
I earned my Bachelors of Family Studies in 1997 (University of Kentucky).
I earned my Associates of Business Management in 1995 (Lexington Community College).
About My Career:
I have 20+ years working with children and families.
I have been with CMS for 10 years.
I have also worked in the following areas: Family Court, Juvenile Court, Juvenile Assessment Centers, Child Protective Services and Rape Crisis Centers.
Fun Fact about Me:
I did 2-1/2 years of college courses in Computer Science before changing my major to Family Studies.

About me: My Social Work career began in 2007. I have 17 years of experience working with children and families.
About my education: I earned my Master of Social Work from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I earned my Bachelors in Sociology from Winston Salem State University.
About my experience: I have 13 years of experience serving students in grades K-12 in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Prior to School Social Work, I worked in Mental Health and Community Social Work. My career has afforded me the experience of collaborating with individuals at all levels. However, my most enjoyable area of Social Work is School Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, and my background includes working with students who face challenges with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, and grief. I have worked closely with individuals and families in addressing various concerns around abuse and neglect, domestic violence and self-esteem.
