IMPORTANT: Athletic Recruitment VS College Admissions
Recruits must complete the same application forms, teacher recommendations, essays, and transcript submissions as regular students. The financial contract the athlete receives is contingent upon the athlete being formally admitted as a student to the university. Once an application is submitted, the athlete should notify the college coach so the athletic department can ask admissions to flag the file.
If an athlete has already received an acceptance offer from a university and has NOT completed the application steps then the offer is not valid until the application has been completed.
