Absences that do not count against your exam exemption days:
Medical - All visits to a doctor must be verified by a note from the doctor stating the exact dates the student was under the doctor’s care and the date the student is allowed to return to school. Students who have regularly scheduled appointments (monthly or weekly check-ins) must be present in class for at least 45 minutes in order to be counted present. Sign-outs that do not meet this requirement will be counted as an absence.
Death in Immediate Family - Students must bring the obituary of deceased family member.
Clover High School sponsored field trips - These trips must be Clover High School affiliated. Outside agencies, teams, and organizations do not fall under this category and will count as an absence.
Parent notes do count toward total absences for the purposes of exam exemption.
