Today we worked on the fourth grade writing skill of using paragraphs in our writing pieces. We revised our current WIPs (works in progress) to use paragraphs according to the tips below.

Some questions to prompt discussion with your fourth grader:

📝 How have you revised your writing? Can you show me where you used your paragraphing skills? (Hint: Ask your fourth grader to show you their writing on Google Classroom.)

📚What book are you reading for Independent Reading? What book do you have "on deck?"

🖐 What did you learn about your buddy this week? What do you have in common?

💻 Ask your fourth grader to see their Google Site. Question: What have you added to your site this week?

🔢 What have your learned about writing and saying big numbers? (Hint: There are big number resources on Google Classroom to prompt more discussion.)

🔢 Can you use expanded notation, word form, and standard form to express a number in the hundred thousands?
