Today's strategy: Make a map. You might want to try a heart map, gut map, or head map. 4C's creativity is shown below.
Math About Us
Our Question: How can we use math to learn about ourselves and our classmates?
Activity One: "Math About Me" quiz.
We asked questions about ourselves and answered only in numbers. We then added our numbers together to get our unique "math numbers." Then, we made posters and solved our classmates' quizzes to find their numbers, too.
Math About Us Part 2:
How can we use math to learn interesting things about our class?
How can we collect data about us?
Some questions we are exploring:
How tall is 4C all together?
How many siblings do we have?
How many pets do we have?
What are our favorite books, authors, and genres?
What sports do we play?
What kinds of cars do we like?
How many years have we been at Glenridge all together?
