Marker and tempera paint
Students learned about and discussed the impact Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had on our country and world. Students received step-by-step directions to create a (simplified) portrait of Dr. King. The background of the portrait displays the students' unique response to the questions: "What is important to you?" and "If you could change anything in our world and/ or community, what would it be?".
