Students listened to a story about outer space. They learned about imagination and how we can use it to inspire our artwork. We reviewed cutting and gluing and learned about collage! Harrison created a collage showing what he imagines space to be like.

Students learned about the art of Yayoi Kusama. We discussed her use of patterns and repetition. Students created pumpkins inspired by Kusama's pumpkins. They used pattern to paint the background and then cut their pumpkin out of colored paper. They added polka dots on their pumpkins to finish.
