The Relaxing Couch

wire, mixed media

After creating gesture drawings of classmates, students turned from pencil to wire to make figure sculptures, drawing inspiration from Alexander Calder. Once their wire figure was formed, students used mixed materials to turn the figure into someone doing something that they love to do. The results were wonderfully creative and expressive!
