A Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) is a written document that sets out the high-risk construction work activities to be carried out in a workplace, the hazards and risks arising from these activities, and the measure you need to put in place to control the risks. Citipointe uses SWMS for high risk construction work.

A Safe Work Procedure is a written document that provides step-by-step instructions on how to safely perform a task or activity in the workplace. A SWP can also be referred to as a Safe Work Method. Citipointe utilizes SWPs for all tasks that may be hazardous for the worker and are used in training inductions.
A Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is used to identify the hazards associated with each step of a particular task and to specify the measures for controlling the risks associated with the hazards. It may include permits required, working environment and associated hazards, PPE, tools and equipment and emergency requirements. It is also used to break down a particular task into basic steps, identify the potential hazards associated with those steps and to select, list and apply appropriate hierarchical control methods to control the identified hazards.
These videos and questionnaires were created to address any specific training needs you may have. Your Head of Department may ask you to complete any of these depending on the types of tasks you are doing. There is a video link inside these documents.
