Zoom

TODO

Here's a list of things to cover from brother Michael:

We will need to have a detailed fellowship on how to conduct this training in different languages.

  1. Should we have coordinators for languages?

  2. How many Zoom accounts are available? Zoom meeting hosts need to have good uplink speed to maintain smooth playback.

  3. Training outline distribution (by locality?)

  4. Schedule for group study and leaders assignments

  5. Webpage to provide training information

Registration Counts

62 saints registered for this training from Santa Clara (25 E, 26 C, 11 K)

The numbers from Cupertino / Sunnyvale are:

  • Total 61 (25 C; 36 E)

  • 25 from Cupertino Chinese-speaking district

  • 18 each from Sunnyvale and Cupertino English-speaking district.

The numbers from Campbell: Total 28: English-23, Chinese-4, Korean-1

Thus, total

  • En: 25 + 36 + 23 = 84

  • Ch: 26 + 25 + 4 = 55

  • Kr: 11 + 1 = 12

  • See also the Action Items below.

Action Items

  • Collect lists of serving brothers whose homes are equipped with good uplink speed internet to stream messages via Zoom. We want two (one active; one backup) for each Zoom meeting.

  • To start language-specific coordination for detailed arrangements - Zoom, serving persons, schedule for common study sessions etc.

  • To propose by Tuesday 6/23 the schedules of common study sessions for each language.

  • James Shau to prepare the survey form for saints to sign up for common study sessions, or to indicate alternative times. (Need translation for Chinese & Korean saints)

  • James Shau to set up trainee-facing the website for the training, including language-specific pages for the coordinators to populate information.
