Preparation Form
Each trainee (i.e. both husband & wife even if shared seat) please fill out the form (en | ch | kr) by 5pm Monday 6/29.
The form will walk you through various aspects and ready you for the upcoming online semi-annual training. It also collects necessary information for the serving ones, including your choices for study time.
Training Schedule
We will start streaming each message exactly at the starting time according to the schedule, in synch across all languages.
LSM requires all trainees to be present and ready 5 minutes before the starting time of each message.
We highly recommend you to join with proper attire even though it is online.
Outline: The soft copy of the outline is now available online here. You may view it online, or download to your compute/device (esp. if you have the app to take notes directly on it), or print it out on your own, if it helps for you to watch the streaming video in Zoom while going thru the outline. Basically the serving brothers probably will not share the outline in Zoom during the message or study time.
Testing & Sharing
LSM requires testing for at least messages 1-10.
The purpose of testing is to motivate trainees to study the messages.
We will conduct testing offline using the weekly status report (see below).
For each message, some trainees will be required to take the test. Others are encouraged but not required to exercise the same way.
The test, or exercsie, is essentially to speak one crucial point (of your choice) of the message.
You will get more points if you submit your speaking in recording or text in the weekly status report (see the screenshot below), as we will all benefit from such mutual sharing.
To submit your speaking in recording, (1) upload your recording file to the cloud of your choice, e.g. Google Drive. (2) Obtain a link (ie. URL) to the uploaded file that is viewable by whoever has the link (3) Paste the link/URL into the weekly report (e.g. the field 2.Recording for message 2).
Screenshot of "3.Test", i.e. Test for message 3, in the sample score view of the weekly status report.
Weekly Status Report
Each trainee each week will receive by Lord's Day evening an e-mail with the form in his/her respective language to fill, and another reminder Friday morning. (Check in the Spam folder, or social/promotion tabs if you do not see it.)
Click "Edit response" link in the e-mail to fill the form. (Don't worry about it saying "Thanks for filling out ...". The serving brothers prefilled the form and did the initial submission for you.)
It should take only a minute or two to complete it.
This is the vehicle for offline testing and sharing. The form will be prefilled to indicate if the trainee is being tested for which message(s) of the week.
We make it a point system to also reinforce training requirements and encourage recommendations by the training in a positive way.
We believe the score that the trainee can see immediately after submitting the weekly report would provide feedback and motivate him/her to exercise before the Lord.
This is a SAMPLE form and the score view. See 3.test in the score view for an example of one who got tested and fulfilled the test in one of the ways.
It is set up for each trainee to see the latest score right after each submission/update. He/she also will receive an e-mail and can edit it later. For example, it might be good to enter the attendance etc. Lord's Day evening right away and update later once or more as you progress through the week with study and testing/sharing .
Sharing
Link to show the trainees' sharing recording and text. We will not show the full names, either anonymously or at most just the initials, maybe locality, too.
