Acceptable Use
Cherry Creek School District has a strict Acceptable Use Policy. This document was included as part of the registration process. In short, the policy requires students and parents to agree to use district technology resources in an appropriate manner. Following is a list of general principles of this policy:
District resources may be used only for school work purposes. This includes CreekMail, Google Suite (Drive, Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Schoology, file saving "cloud", and any other district-supplied application.
All browsing history in Chrome browser at school and at home (if logged in with school account) will be visible to teachers and CCSD personnel.
Students must use school hardware and software appropriately. Any damage caused by the student will result in the student and parents being billed for the replacement cost.
Cyber bullying of any kind will not be tolerated, whether it is with school resources or students' own devices in use at school.
Student may not interfere with or destroy another user's work stored on any school or district owned device.
Any violation of these or any other district or school policies may result in the student's access to technology resources being removed for a period of time or permanently. Other infractions, such as destroying others' work, tampering with or destroying hardware or software, inappropriate web browsing, use of hardware or software for purposes not related to schoolwork, or cyber bullying will result in revoked access, suspension, or expulsion.
