Community Connections Night will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The Collegiate Prep Changemakers are seeking Parent Project Coordinators for our grade-level community-safety and first-responder appreciation projects.
The Changemakers Program Chair, Rhonda Black, will design each project, create the instructions and templates, purchase supplies, and manage family communications. Parent Project Coordinators will help turn those plans into action by preparing and distributing materials, collecting completed projects, and ensuring each grade level’s work is ready for Community Connections Night.
Parent Project Coordinators should be dependable, responsive, organized, available during the project’s key dates, and VOLY-approved when required for school-based or student-facing activities.
Want to help bring this project to life?
Join the grade-level project committee to support the Parent Project Coordinator with preparing and distributing materials, collecting completed projects, organizing the event display, and completing other project needs.
After registration closes, your contact information will be shared with the Parent Project Coordinator, who will contact committee members with next steps, assignments, and important dates. Committee volunteers should be responsive, available for key project activities, and VOLY-approved when participating in school-based or student-facing activities.
Explore the grade-level opportunities below to learn more about each project, review the Parent Project Coordinator responsibilities and timeline, and see how committee volunteers will support the work. Then, choose the grade-level project and role that best match your interests and availability.
