Small Hands. Big Impact. Spreading Holiday Hope!

The Collegiate Prep Changemakers are gearing up for our 3rd Annual Horns for Hope Holiday Food Drive, benefiting Cedar Hill Shares Pantry! This year, we're rallying the entire Collegiate Prep community around one big goal: collecting enough food to assemble 100 complete holiday meal kits for local families in need!

From November 2–13, scholars across all seven grade levels will participate in a friendly food drive competition, with each grade collecting assigned holiday meal essentials. The grade that reaches the highest percentage of its collection goal will earn the Golden Horn Award and a special Popsicle Party in Spring 2027!

🕒 After School 4pm- 5:30pm

Once the food drive concludes, it's time for our Changemakers to roll up their sleeves and put service into action! Scholars will work together to sort donated food items, organize supplies, and assemble holiday meal kits for Cedar Hill Shares Pantry.

This hands-on service experience gives our Changemakers an opportunity to see the collective impact of their school community's generosity while practicing teamwork, leadership, and compassion.

🧡 One School. One Community. One Big Impact.

Horns for Hope is more than a food drive. It's an opportunity for our scholars to experience the power of coming together to support neighbors in need.

Let's make our 3rd Annual Horns for Hope our biggest success yet!

Leading with Kindness, Growing through Service.

CHANGEMAKER FAMILIES!

We’re excited for a fun evening of family, community, connection, and celebration as we come together with our Collegiate Pathway families and friends from across CHISD!

We’ll kick off the evening with Community Safety Night, hosted by the Collegiate Prep Changemakers in partnership with the Cedar Hill Police Department and Cedar Hill Fire Department. Families can visit interactive safety stations, experience demonstrations from our first responders, see the amazing work created by our Changemakers, and even write their own thank-you notes to the officers and firefighters who serve our community. Visit all of the stations and you’ll even have a chance to win some fun prizes!

Then the fun continues downstairs! Grab dinner from one of our food trucks, enjoy Bingo and family games, and join us for cake as we celebrate Collegiate Prep earning its 6th consecutive National PTA School of Excellence designation!

And for our Prep families, this is also a great opportunity to spend time on the Collegiate Academy & High School campus, connect with our “big Collegiate brothers and sisters,” and give your scholars a glimpse of where their Collegiate journey will take them next.

Come learn a little, play a lot, celebrate together, and enjoy a great night with our Collegiate and CHISD community. We hope to see our Changemaker families there! WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Show your Changemakers spirit! Shirts will be available for $15 plus tax each from Sunday, September 27, through Sunday, October 4.

We encourage Changemakers and their family members to join in, but purchasing a shirt is completely optional.

Click here to purchase your shirts by the deadline!

We’re excited to announce that Dylan S. is the winner of our 2026–2027 Changemakers T-Shirt Design Contest! Dylan’s winning artwork will become the official Collegiate Prep Changemakers T-shirt design for this school year, and her name will be proudly featured alongside her design.

We’ll also be adding “The Collegiate Prep Changemakers” to the final design to make it officially ours!

We’re currently working with K&D Designs to finalize the artwork and prepare for production. Pre-orders will open soon, with our goal of having shirts in the hands of our Changemakers and families before Project 2!

👏 Congratulations, Dylan — and thank you to every Changemaker who submitted a design and voted! 👏

Be sure to visit our Online Design Gallery to see all of the creative designs submitted by our Changemakers — now featuring the names of the talented scholars behind each one!
