Number Needed: One coordinator, with additional assembly and setup volunteers
Estimated Commitment: Approximately 4–6 hours across several dates
The Pre-K and Kindergarten Artwork Coordinator will oversee the preparation, distribution, collection, transportation, and display of the Community Helpers art projects completed by our youngest Changemakers.
The Changemakers Program Chair will provide the project design, artwork template or prompt, supplies, instructions, deadlines, and family communications.
Participate in a brief coordinator kickoff.
Review the project instructions and timeline.
Receive the supplies purchased for the project.
Assemble and label take-home art kits.
Coordinate the distribution of kits to participating families.
Serve as the first contact for basic questions about obtaining or returning materials.
Refer questions involving project changes or exceptions to the Changemakers Chair.
Collect completed artwork by the established deadline.
Track submissions and notify the Changemakers Chair of missing projects.
Transport the completed artwork to Community Connections Night.
Set up and arrange the Pre-K and Kindergarten portion of the gallery.
Pack and organize the artwork after the event for return or future use.
Sept. 23–30: Coordinator registration
Oct. 1-2: Virtual coordinator kickoff (30 min)
Exact meeting time will be coordinated based on selected coordinators’ availability. Individual kickoff sessions may be scheduled if needed.
By Oct. 2: Receive final instructions and supplies
Oct. 3 or 4: Assemble take-home kits
Oct. 5–6: Distribute kits
Oct. 9–16: Fall Break
Oct. 20: Collect completed artwork
Oct. 21: Transport, set up, and support the gallery
