Perry Initiative

I participated in a program that exposes girls to the bioengineering field. They focused on orthopedic tools and innovations. I learned how to suture, cast, and repair fractures. Also, I was able to hear from women in the professional setting. They explained how they got to where they were and gave general life guidance.
