Use the sentence cards and mat to practice moving a counter for each word and then name how many words are in the sentence. Example: Move a counter (bean, cotton ball, etc.) for each word that you hear in the sentence The dog is brown. You should move four counters because there are four words. Use the video and anchor chart in Station 1 to help you.
