The CLT Team provides friendly, faculty-centered support for all aspects of teaching through individualized coaching, small group training, learning communities, workshops. Our curated resources include a rich knowledge base of articles on teaching and educational technology, collected faculty reflections on teaching in our blog, and a welcoming collaboration space in the Library
The SMART Space is Champlain's student headquarters for academic success. We provide one-on-one appointments in academic coaching, content- specific peer- tutoring in a variety of subject areas, embedded tutoring in collaboration with Faculty as well as wellbeing, and academic skill-building.
The focus of the Office of Accessibility is to provide accommodations to students with documented disabilities in order to ensure equal access from the classroom to the entire campus community. We believe in building a strong partnership with Champlain College faculty and staff to help create accessible environments as it is an important part of Champlain’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Counseling Center at Champlain College offers a full range of confidential mental health services. Our approach is holistic, utilizing a wellness model to address emotional, physical, and relational aspects of well-being.
Our services include individual and group counseling, drop-in counseling, medication management, substance abuse treatment and referrals, and mental health education, outreach, and programming. We help students deal with a wide range of issues including adjusting to college, depression and anxiety, academic stress, identity development, body image and eating behaviors, and relationship/roommate issues.

The Office of International Education supports Champlain students who would like to add a global experience in the form of a semester abroad, summer program or international internship. We collaborate with faculty advisors and program directors to offer choices that best fit with the students academic goals. We support faculty led trips and provide risk management assistance to groups traveling on college sanctioned programs.
The Registrar's Office works with both faculty and students. We support faculty with classroom assignments and scheduling, curriculum and catalog updates, FERPA guidance, college policies and procedures, and academic advising for those who are faculty advisors.
The Core curriculum is the integrative interdisciplinary curriculum that all students take, regardless of their program of study. Rooted in the liberal arts and social sciences, the Core prioritizes inquiry-driven, problem-based learning, with a growing emphasis on experiential and project-based learning. Every student enrolls in two Core courses for each of their first six semesters, culminating in an integrative Capstone project in their final year.
In Spring 2020, a coalition of faculty and staff developed a new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) online course that introduced key, foundational knowledge relevant to DEI in the classroom and beyond. This course can be completed online and on your own timeframe, and can be explored in as much depth as you and your Dean feel is necessary.
The Champlain Rainbow Alliance is composed of staff and faculty who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer. We provide a supportive space to discuss issues relevant to Champlain's LGBTQ community, plan educational initiatives and host social activities.
Champlain College's adjunct faculty union was organized in 2015 as part of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). To date, the union has negotiated two Collective Bargaining Agreements with the College, in 2016 and 2019, which have increased job security, provided professional development support, and dramatically improved compensation. Additionally, the union offers adjunct faculty at Champlain a feeling of professional community as well as plenty of networking opportunities.
Champlain Transportation's mission is to help employees get to, from, and around Champlain as easily and sustainably as possible. This involves parking, shuttles, GMT city bus, biking, CarshareVT and more.
At Champlain College, we take pride in our facilities and work tirelessly to ensure they are clean, disinfected and safe. All custodial services of the academic buildings is completed by Janitech, a contracted service. They work day and night to make sure everything is as it should be. This contract is managed by Nic Anderson, Champlain's Director of Auxiliary Services.
