The CLT provides friendly, faculty-centered support for all aspects of teaching, as well as opportunities to develop professionally through reflection, collaboration and innovation. We offer individualized coaching, small group training, learning communities, and workshops. We also curate resources that provide practical teaching tips and trusted information about higher education pedagogy.
You can learn more about the CLT on our website! We host extensive tutorials on using Canvas, designing courses, building community and inclusion in your class, and other aspects of teaching. The CLT blog features reflections from faculty on teaching and learning, as well as updates on current trends in teaching best practices. Check it out!
The CLT does not directly provide support with the Canvas LMS, other than the tutorials on our website, but we refer faculty to our expert colleages in Information Systems. If you need Canvas support specifically, please email canvasadmin@champlain.edu.

Zero to Go is a five-step structured approach to getting your course ready to go on short notice. It prioritizes having a good syllabus, getting the basics of your Canvas course set up, and clearly articulating for yourself what you plan to achieve in the course so you can communicate that to students. Click the title above to engage with the CLT Zero-to-Go self-guided course set-up process.
The CLT is proud to collaborate with other teams on campus, and you will frequently see us offering trainings and opportunities alongside teams like the SMART Space (Academic Coaching), Library, and more. Our team also includes embedded faculty fellows and leads, as well as staff from Information Systems. Meet our key players...
