Champlain Abroad advises our student population on how to embed a global experience into their time at Champlain. We had a participation rate of over 50% (pre-pandemic), of those students 30% complete an internship or have an experiential learning experience while abroad. We work with full-time faculty who have been approved for faculty-led courses and work closely with the with the administrators of the Freeman Grant. To learn more please make an appointment with the appropriate staff.

Study Abroad Coordinator
Originally from Venezuela, I'm the newest member of the Champlain Abroad office. My main responsibility is working with students who want to study abroad in Champlain College's Dublin and Montreal programs. I'm in charge of advertising the programs as well as recruiting, advising and helping students through the application process. I am also responsible for the curricular side of study abroad, so I often collaborate with faculty to make sure that students from all majors are able to study abroad. I come from a background of linguistics and literature, and taught French as a foreign language for twenty years before transitioning to this position.
