John Googins

Hey! My name is Jack Googins and I am a freshman at Champlain College! My threads for Degree Design Lab are Sonic Arts and Cybersecurity. In this project, my main focus will be how farmers and food workers are treated, and how that can impact sustainable eating. Some of the topics that I will be looking into include laws and policy changes to benefit those workers and how these have changed for the better, or how they need to be improved. I also wrote a little bit about our diets as Americans, and how we can improve them both individually as a a Nation. The workers that help us stay healthy and provide us food are something that I believe are taken for granted, and I do hope that the information that I provide in the project will help inform and change the way that our community eats and views their food supply.
