Bees are a vital part of food production. Without them, it would be virtually impossible to grow crops. Giving bees a safe home where they can flourish supports the environment, and the production of local honey cuts down on the need for honey made elsewhere, lessening pollution made during shipping and production. Plus, you know exactly who's making the honey, so there's no ethical grey area.
