My name is Ava Ferguson, I use she/her pronouns and I am currently a second-year student at Champlain College. I am apart of the Degree Design Lab and my threads include the combination of Advocacy, Organizational Innovation, and Psychology. For this project, I have looked into local organizations that help to encourage and supply the people of the Burlington area with healthy, sustainable, and ethical food options, as well as other important resources. I have also been incorporating the topic of food education into my studies and researching the importance of childhood education surrounding the subject of nutrition.

I have hopes that we as a team will be able to help make living a much more sustainable and ethical lifestyle more obtainable and accessible for all.
