Molly Schneider “ The Watering Hole”
12x18 Oil Pastel, Watercolor Paint, Hot Glue on Paper, 2017
7th Grade
My favorite animal is the lion so i knew that I wanted to do a lion and i went from there.
I want them to think of the hot day in Africa and if the lion is going to his pride or is he rogue.
That the lion is going to the watering hole and it is a very hot day.
The black wash was a disaster so i would like to redo that.
The lion’s eyes because they are beautiful.

I kind of just improvised with my plan and colors.
I used the slab method.
That it is meant to resemble Jehan Prouvaire from ‘Les Miserables’
I would add one more flower.
The colors and the flowers.

I knew I wanted to do something from a musical, and I thought of this.
I want my viewers to know that the plant in the middle is a human-eating plant.
I don't think I would change anything.
The flowers and the sign on the door.
