The Final Challenge

Well, in the beginning of the semester I was someone that didn't understand the importance of learning Digital Literacies in this way that we saw, and I had good expectations for this second semester, like what I would learn, How would be the new professors, etc. And even if we´re not in the presencial class, I could learn a lot of things in the classes that we had. I think that specific in this class, it was good having online classes because we learned practicing the content.

One of the readings that I most liked in this class is "Digital Literacies: Research and Resources in Language Teaching" by Gavin Dudeney, Nicky Hockly and Mark Pegrum, where they develop, the importance of teaching Digital Literacies, and the different types of Digital Literacies, what I found really cool and interesting, because it's really useful on my personal, academic and professional life, even because I'm an artist and need to use the internet in my favor and in a secure way, and I also think it's meaningful for the teaching practice even though I won't be a teacher.

As a student that came from the last year of high school in the remote modality, I think that for me it's easier the online classes, in the truth I feel like I don't know how to use an note book and an pencil anymore, because it's been two years that I'm having online classes, it's weird, but it's a fact, even because we have all the contents in the Moodle. I had a lot of opportunities to interact in the class even though I didn't because I feel really shy to speak in the classes. I learned a lt of things in the classes, one of the things that I most liked it's how to use the Google tools like the Google Sites. One of the activities that I most liked was that with the games, I really enjoy games and one that I least liked was doing the Word Cloud. I felt welcomed and comfortable in this course because we he really good people in this course both my classmates or my teachers. Asa person that never thought the importance of Digital Literacies before, i don't think that we missed a content, I think that we discussed all the topics that we could, even with the time that we had. I think that a good suggestion of topic that the teacher could approach more is about fake news and what we could do abou it.

Well, I think that all the contents are really useful to the teaching practice, even though I won't do it, but if I do it, I would use the book "Digital Literacies: Research and Resources in Language Teaching" that I really found interesting and I'm sure that it's really cool to show the importance and the different types of Digital Literacies to teach them how could each one would be used.

I would give myself a grade 7 because I think that I could dedicated myself a little more than I did. But I really got a lot of knowledge that it will be really useful for my academic, personal and professional life. So I would like to thank my Teacher Suzana and my classmates that share their big knowledge.
