At the beginning of the semester I just moved to a new apartment and I was very excited for the second semester of English. New experiences and learnings. In the middle of the semester I entered Pibid and almost in the end I entered LabEOn as a volunteer.

The remote modality has been terrible, unfortunately, and I hope we return in person as fast as it can. It has a lot of privileges, like no need to take a bus at 7am. But we can always take a lemon and make a good lemonade. In this semester I have learned about a lot of technologies to use for education that I didn’t know about. It’s gonna be very helpful for graduation and teaching.

In the books Digital Literacies: Research and Resources in Language Teaching by Gavin Dudeney, Mark Pegrum and Nicky Hockly, and Digital Literacy across the curriculum by FutureLab gets clear about the importance of digital literacy and how we need to teach and prepare the next generation. The world is making changes for the future and the digital spaces grow more and more with technology.

I love the activity of digital technologies, analyzing apps. I will definitely use some of those apps in the future.

I sincerely guess I should be more present in the classes. Participate more, ask more questions or contribute more in the classes, read more. But it was a semester of great learning. In my grade I would like to have an 8, but I’ll be happy too if is just an 7, I could do much better in the semester, but I’m glad that I get till here and didn’t give up.
