Students learn the values of Martial Arts such as Respect & Discipline for example: learning to Bow, giving and taking with two hands & sitting posture in class. They will also learn various techniques of kicking for self-defense as well as “Poomsae” form for improved body co-ordination
The progress of each student is tracked by the tapes they receive around their belts for example: Yellow Tape (display of respect), Green Tape (Kicking technique), and upon completion of their tapes they will receive a Belt Test application form to achieve their next level
Belt Tests are organized every quarter at Wong Chuk Hang (Marina 8) branch and is optional for students to join. Students must wear their Taekwondo uniform for the Belt Test.

Our international coaching team, consisting of former members of the French, Hungarian and Hong Kong national fencing teams, integrates fun with the core principles of fencing. Taking place in the spacious activity room, all students are taught the basics while also building the foundation for fencing career. Students will be introduced to all three blade categories, learn footwork, blade work, as well plenty of sparring. Students will also be given the opportunity to be looped into beginner competitions in Hong Kong, where they can experience competition and represent the school.
Our program will focus on building confidence, focus, communication and discipline - qualities that are crucial to not only fencing but in our students’ daily lives too. Students will also improve their balance, coordination, flexibility, and overall fitness. Finally, we aim to combine ambition and training with fun so that they can love fencing the same way we do! The Little Masters: Wing Chun & Self-Defence for Kids

Our students can defend themselves against verbal attacks as much as a physical ones. They are streetwise so they can avoid dangerous situations and are able to maintain a calm and present state so they can make good decisions if they ever find themselves in one.
Curriculums are specially designed and updated from over 15 years of experience teaching 1000’s of children in Hong Kong. We use a variety of solo, partner and team activities and exercises to harness the Kung Fu principles for practical life applications. In addition, the Mindfulness aspect of our classes foster, greater mind-body connection and better understanding of the inner world and lead to better mental health.

Chinese Kung Fu

The CDNIS Kung Fu ASA trains students to be proactive and unflinching when facing challenges. Founded in 1981 in Hong Kong by Grand Master AU Yuet-sing, Black Belt 10th Dan, HYYLK movements and techniques are simple, feasible and practical in actual combat. Training focuses on the important factors, which contribute to the scientific use of force – speed, agility, balance, flexibility, accurate timing and target focus.

Class Progression
1. Beginners level self-defense training (Level 1-9):
There are nine grades in Heng Yue Yen Long Kwon differentiated by a colour belt system i.e. white, yellow, yellow-green, green, green-blue, blue, blue-brown, brown and brown-black. Apart from basic knowledge of Heng Yue Yen Long Kwon including warm-up, muscle-relaxing exercises, pattern-drills, kicking, punching, elbowing, grasping, locking and elementary sparring practice. Students will learn the HYYLK variety in attack, defence and counter-attack. Belt promotion exams are organized at HYYLK headquarters: 10/F, 9 Morrison Hill Road and is optional for students to join. Students must wear their HYYLK uniform for the belt exam.
2. Black Belt 1st & 2nd Dan:
Students will learn HYYLK theories and more advanced skills in sparring to enhance speed, perseverance, strength, flexibility and precision will be taught. Top performers will be appointed as assistant instructors and receive training in amateur pugilism at HYYLK headquarters and Causeway Bay Branch at 9 Morrison Hill Road and 37 Leighton Road.
3. Advanced Black Belt level (Black Belt 3rd & 4th Dan):
Students will learn key areas, strategy and HYYLK advanced sparring skills. Professional instructors will be selected from these grades and receive training in professional pugilism and competition adjudicating.
4. Master Black Belt level (Black Belt 5th Dan & above):
Professional instructors will be taught the HYYLK special techniques, theories and philosophy. They will learn delicate execution of fighting skills, and be familiar with changing techniques of other forms of martial arts, knowing their strengths and weaknesses, and hence be able to apply the HYYLK technique efficiently to knock down an opponent. Senior professional instructors are to be appointed from among them.

The Lab
The Lab is an intensive skill based training session where every week a different aspect of the game is broken down to its finer points utilising specially tailored drills and game situations. The programme primarily deals with advanced concepts. There is also a dynamic exercise component to the programme that focuses on Speed, Agility and Quickness; essential tools for successful athletes in any sport. This programme is geared toward experienced and Elite Level players looking for a challenging workout, similar to NBA and NCAA Division I off-season workouts.
Elite Skills Training
The primary aim of our weekend training programme is individual skill development. The Elite Skills Training group will focus on advanced basketball fundamentals, including ball handling, shooting, footwork, and game-specific decision-making.
Players selected for this group will have demonstrated a strong foundation of skills and a clear understanding of the game. The goal is to challenge them with high-level drills and concepts similar to those used in elite development programs.
Sessions will be more focused and intense, designed to push players to grow and refine their abilities in a supportive and structured environment.

Gymnastics

Gym4Kids is an exciting programme developed by high level coaches to teach all of the basic fundamentals for beginners and progressively increase training techniques and skills to advanced levels of gymnastics. Our classes have a key focus of making sure every child is having as much fun as possible, while improving gymnastics skills. Upon completion of the programme we expect each child to perform their routines with a great deal of confidence and joy. Each term ends with a gymnastics level assessment.

Recreational Gymnastics
This class is for boys and girls who are new to gymnastics or beginners. It gives them an opportunity to play fun gymnastics oriented games and practice basic skills on all apparatus. Basic fundamentals will be worked on, such as strength and flexibility, so children can progress on to more advanced gymnastics.

ALP Level 1
Classes continue to develop basic fundamental gymnastics skills to a more competent level. Students will learn introductory routines on the vault, uneven bars, beam and floor apparatus. Gymnasts will learn to master their routines while learning harder skills for the next level.

ALP Level 2
Students will learn routines for SEASAC’S Australian levels programme. More strength, conditioning and flexibility exercises will be performed in order to learn more advanced skills. Gymnasts will also practice harder movements across all apparatus.

Artistic Gymnastics (WAG/MAG) - ALP Level 3, 4, 5, & 6 Open Age Group
These classes are for competitive gymnasts who have mastered level 3 routines and can complete all required skills. Higher difficulty skills and training will be performed across all apparatus, so gymnasts need to be mentally and physically prepared for the challenge. A key component of this class will be learning floor routines with music and choreography. Students are advised to train multiple times a week in order to consistently improve strength, flexibility and advanced skills needed for this level of gymnastics.
