Fever Policy
CDNIS strictly enforces the Fever Free Policy, as recommended by the Centre for Health Protection. Therefore, students who are sick or with a fever should not be in school.
EY1–Grade 2–students should be fever free for 48 hours before they can resume school.
Grades 3 and above–students should be fever free for 24 hours before they can resume school.
Our ASA programs are dedicated to the well-being, health and safety of all students. In our efforts to maintain a healthy and safe environment for all ASA participants, our ASA providers strictly adhere to our school's existing 48 hour fever free policy. In addition, students who do not attend a full day of school due to any health, wellness issues or recovery rest, may not return to school to participate in the after school activities.
