Health and Safety guidelines are subject to change based on EDB and CHP guidelines
Fever Policy
CDNIS strictly enforces the Fever Free Policy, as recommended by the Centre for Health Protection. Therefore, students who are sick or with a fever should not be in school.
Early Years 1 to Grade 2 – students should be fever free for 48 hours before they can resume school.
Grade 3 and above – students should be fever free for 24 hours before they can resume school.
Safety Measures
While the school will take all possible measures to ensure the safety of students and staff on campus, it should be emphasised that parents and students also play a crucial role in monitoring their own health. Students should stay home if they feel unwell, unusually tired, have fever or respiratory problems e.g.runny nose, sore throat. If your child is sick, please send us an email on activities@cdnis.edu.hk and cc nurse@cdnis.edu.hk
In the case of a medical emergency, your child will be transported to the nearest public hospital (Ruttonjee) by ambulance; In such cases parents will be notified.
Please notify nurse@cdnis.edu.hk of any known health issues of concern.
