Young Masters of Ink & Brush: 

Chinese Painting & Calligraphy Summer Camp

In this two-week summer program, we will guide students into the artistic world of ink, exploring two main themes: calligraphy and Chinese painting.

In the calligraphy section, the course will introduce the classic inscription Meng Ying Thousand-Character Essay as a starting point to explore the stylistic features of seal script (篆書Zhuàn shū) , inspiring students to appreciate the beauty of its brushwork and structure.

In the painting section, students will learn to depict subjects such as flowers and birds, fruits and vegetables, and animals. They will also be introduced to several distinguished Chinese painting masters, each with a unique artistic style. Through copying and reinterpretation, students will experience the expressive charm and rhythmic beauty of traditional ink painting.

Art springs from life! This summer let's dive into the magic where art meets rhythm and melody. We'll craft clay chime bells, transform plates into "dong-dong" drums, and turn straws into panpipes. By collecting everyday materials and unleashing our imagination, we'll create wonderful musical instruments with our own hands! Tap, shake, listen, and feel the different sounds. Everyone can become a little instrument inventor, awakening the voices of traditional instruments right in your palms. With songs as our accompaniment, we'll join friends to hold a one-of-a-kind "Handmade Concert," filled with sounds that are uniquely ours. Come join us—mold creativity and play the melody of childhood fun!

Kids' Photo Beginner: Composition & Light (Mandarin)

童影初學堂：構圖與光（普通話）

本課程對象為 3-4 年級學生，要求學生自備 iPad 作為拍攝工具，無需額外攝影設備；教學核心為攝影基礎構圖與基礎用光知識，以趣味理論結合實拍練習開展教學。 

課程將使用具備簡易投影設備的教室，便於講解構圖與用光的課程範例圖片，輔助學生理解基礎知識。 

This programme is designed for Grade 3-4 students, who are required to bring their own iPads as shooting tools and no additional photography equipment is needed. The core teaching content includes basic photography composition and basic lighting knowledge, with teaching carried out through interesting theories combined with practical shooting practice. 

A classroom equipped with simple projection equipment will be used for the programme, which facilitates the explanation of course sample images related to composition and lighting, and helps students understand basic knowledge. 

*This camp will be taught in Mandarin.
