Chinese Culture Club 中國文化會
Looking for a fun and engaging way to explore Chinese culture and practice your language skills. Chinese Culture Club invites students from G4-5 with various language proficiency levels to join us this upcoming school year!
This is a great opportunity for kids to develop social skills, thinking skills, as well as communication skills through a variety of culturally based activities such as story-telling with puppet shows, Tie-dyed art, making traditional Chinese food, Chinese traditional art crafts, etc.

Chinese Recitation Club
In this club, students will explore various forms of poetry and prose, practicing the art of recitation. They will have the chance to perform in front of an audience, enhancing their confidence and public speaking abilities. Through engaging activities, members will learn to interpret texts, understand rhythm and emotion, and express their thoughts creatively.
Additionally, we will provide students with opportunities to sign up for some recitation-related competitions to increase their competition experience. Join us to let your voice shine and discover the beauty of words!

Are you excited to explore the vibrant world of Chinese culture while enhancing your reading and writing skills? The Chinese Magazine Club is the perfect opportunity for students in Grades 4 to 5, regardless of language proficiency, to join us this school year!
In this club, students will take on the roles of editors and illustrators to create and design school-based magazines, published twice a year. They will have the chance to use laptops to type, edit, proofread, illustrate, and design magazine content. This hands-on experience not only helps them learn valuable IT skills but also familiarizes them with various digital tools, including Google Docs, Google Drive, Canva, and other AI resources.
Additionally, students will collaborate through engaging activities that foster teamwork and enhance their social, critical thinking, and communication skills.

The Chinese Dance Team is an after school program aiming to promote and foster Chinese culture, through the creation of a Chinese-style dance. Other than fostering a better understanding of Chinese history and cultural heritage, the final dance will be performed by students at our school's Chinese New Year celebrations and other events. This allows students to not only learn more about Chinese culture but offers students the chance to perform on stage. An audition will be held for the selection of the dance team members.
