Enriched Sophomore English

Course Description

Enriched Sophomore English is a yearlong course designed to improve student’s reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking skills through an integrated approach to literacy development.  Students will read novels, dramas, poetry, short stories, and nonfiction.  Students will also develop multiple writing skills and strategies with analytical writing and persuasive research composition. This class is an enriched class focusing on college preparation and advanced placement opportunities.
