Sandy snowden
“Principal” Sandy is the Director here at Rebound. She has been here for 22 years and has invested herself into making this program successful and fun. Sandy has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from SIUC and is married with 3 kids
(as well as a fur child and a son-in law),
3 grandchildren, 3 grand-puppies
and 3 grand-cows. If you need anything at all you can reach out to her!
She also has the candy stash in her office…last door on the left in the front (by the staff entrance)
Teachers
Denise Diliberto
Denise received her Master’s Degree in History from SIU. She is a bonafide historian. She is also a “heavy-metal hippie”. Here, she will be facilitating history and government courses.
Penny Smith
Originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Penny's family moved to Southern Illinois in 1981. Graduating from Rebound, She went to SIUC maintaining a 3.9 GPA with minors in Criminal Justice & Philosophy and a Bachelors in Personality PSYC. Family and kids are everything to Penny. The opportunity to teach here at Rebound, gives back to the community and the program which made it all possible.
QT Hudson
She is the English Instructor. She has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science & Kinesiology with a minor in coaching from SIUC. She is also co- coach of the Unity Point Cheerleading team and as actively involved in the Carbondale Community. If you need a boost of energy, a good time/smile or a helping hand, stop by and see her!

Ms Purple is a certified math teacher with several years experience in various aspects of education. She loves working with young people to help them overcome and succeed.

Danielle Jerolds
Hi there, I am Danielle! I am new to the Rebound Team — serving in a dual role as the Restorative Practices & Distance Learning Facilitator. I am a Carbondale native! I love the natural beauty of Southern Illinois' surrounding landscape. On the weekends, you can find me outside if the weather is nice, at a local coffee shop with my husband enjoying a latte, or out antiquing. I graduated recently from SIU with my Master's in Intercultural Communication & Pedagogy. Feel free to stop by my room if you need encouragement, want to chat, or just say hi!
Matt Duckworth
Matt is the guidance counselor here at Rebound. He's been here over 10 years and look forward to another great school year.
Crystal Hicks
Also known as The Lady in the Box, Crystal answers the phone and most questions. She keeps track of attendance, sign in sheets, and completed & new classes, and lets students in and out of the building.

Katie Valliant is a Parent Educator with the Family Literacy Program. This is the start of her 10th year working here, but long before that she took a few classes with Rebound while she was in high school. Katie and her husband are from Carbondale and have six children, ages 18, 12, 12, and 10 and two brand new baby boys. her office is in the far front corner of the building, feel free to visit!

Chloe is a new-ish Parent Educator here at Rebound. She went to school for Psychology and has experience working with families. She has a five-year-old son who just started Kindergarten and is excited to see what this new school year brings!

My name is Char, and I am one of the Parent educators ! I have a Bachelors in Psych, and a Masters in Counseling with an emphasis in Childhood trauma . I'm a super aunt and have 1 nephew and 5 nieces. I am obsessed with Harry Potter (no ,seriously I have place in my home called Harrys Corner) . I like to dance ; travel and I desire to become a traveling foodie! Great advice giver with a hint of Auntie vibes. I'm the first desk in the family lit office . Come see me when you need a chat!!
