A blocker may reach beyond the net, provided they do not interfere with their opponents play before the attack hit;
When hitting, the player’s hand may go over the net, provided they contacted the ball on their own side of the net.
Touching the opponent’s court with a foot is permitted, provided a part of the foot is in contact with (or directly above) the centre line;
Touching the opponent’s court with any part of the body above the feet is permitted provided that it does not interfere with the opponent’s play.
Touching the net is a fault while attempting to play the ball is a fault;
When the ball is driven into the net, causing it to touch an opponent, no fault is committed.
A player touches the ball or an opponent in the opponent’s playing space before or during the opponent’s attack hit;
A player interferes with the opponent’s play while penetrating under the net;
A player’s foot goes completely onto the opponent’s court;
A player touching the net, using the net to stabilise themselves or catching/holding onto the net is interfering with play and should be penalised.
