During the middle of October and the middle of March, we send students official progress reports and holding Parent-Teacher Conferences. A progress report grade sheet is given to you with information pulled from the learning management system. You will use these calculations to enter progress report grades in the Student Information System.
Students failing two or more classes are required to have a parent-teacher conference. You may invite an administrator if needed. Additional information on how to complete and enter mid-semester progress reports will be sent mid-semester. Stay tuned :)
It is our favorite time of year!!!! It is time to see how our students did in their classes and record their hard work on their report cards. Report card grades go on student transcripts so it is very important that you carefully read through all of the directions and understand how to correctly enter all grades.
All students receive a report card each semester.
A couple of quick notes before we get into specifics:
We DO use plus/minus.
60% is passing. We use the following scale CalPac Grade Scale. WE DO NOT ROUND ANY GRADES!!!
A passing grade (A-D) earns 5 credits. An F earns 0 credits.
You are able to assign 3% of extra credit to students who earned it.
There are a few steps to reporting final grades. It is very important that you complete each step and contact your lead with any questions.
Completion Sheet
Entering Grades in SIS
Reporting Errors (if any)
Submitting Completion Sheet
Checking Error Sheet for "Solutions or Counselor Reported Errors"
Information on how to complete the completion rate sheet and enter final grades will be sent at the end of the semester. Stay tuned :)
