While Edmentum offers a host of course options, we only use the Exact Path feature. Exact Path is used for two purposes, (1) providing start and end of year diagnostic testing in math, language arts and reading, and (2) providing remedial math skills classes. Edmentum is not bridged through the SIS like our other LMS systems. Instead students and staff will use their school emails to sign in to Edmentum here: https://auth.edmentum.com/External/Challenge?provider=Google. Students will see an Edmentum icon in their student portal that they will use to sign in. Keep this in mind as this is a common problem students encounter when accessing Edmentum.
Most of your oversight in Edmentum is to verify students complete their start and end of year diagnostic tests and spend at least 1 hour per week working in reading and math. The information below will walk you through how to login and where to check student information. Student diagnostic scores are uploaded into the SIS and viewable from the Student Dashboard. Scores are also housed on the Student Information Sheet.
Email templates to remind students to take their diagnostics are available in the Teacher Resource Folder.
Please contact Erin Rineberg with any questions about using Edmentum.

The goal is to have students complete their diagnostic test day 1. Keep checking on completion status and follow up with those that haven’t finished.
Monitoring the Diagnostic:
From the Teacher Home Page choose the subject area MATH | LANGUAGE ARTS | READING or use the quick link: Review Diagnostic Status
Click the Diagnostic Scheduling tile under Diagnostics
Choose the grade level class from the drop down.
Look at the NOT SCHEDULED, SCHEDULED & COMPLETED tabs.
Anyone under the SCHEDULED tab needs to still take the diagnostic.
New kids will show under the NOT SCHEDULED tab and will need to have the diagnostic assigned to them following the same steps.
***If a student does not finish the diagnostic in the testing window they will show up under the LAPSED SCHEDULE tab. Let Erin Rineberg know if you have students showing here.
Review student diagnostic results to see performance levels at the standard domain level.
Monitoring the Diagnostic:
From the Teacher Home Page choose the subject area you are teaching MATH | LANGUAGE ARTS | READING
Click the Student Diagnostic Results tile under Diagnostics
Choose your content class from the drop down.
Filter the results by either student or grade.
View the assessment scores for every student. Look at the Overall Assessment score to see a student’s performance grade level and domain level performance to see how a student scored in each domain area.
Click on a student name to open up an individualized report of their score.
***Note: View the Class Summary Report Guide for more details on interpreting scores.
Students login the same way as you. Once students are logged in they will click the blue BEGIN button in each subject tile to take the diagnostic test. At the end they will hit "Ok" to submit their test.
Each test will take students about an hour to complete. Questions will level up and down depending on how students answer. Encourage students to try their best but to not stress if they don't know the answer.
