As usual when working with the Editor Utility Widgets, I started by creating some sort of interface. Because this one was going to be more complex than the previous, I wanted to make certain parts stand out more than others so things don't get confusing for end users.
This was also a relatively straightforward concept in terms of what the actions were that needed to be performed. Basically, before the asset is renamed I allowed the end user to select the prefix and suffix of their selected asset in addition to displaying it as they type it out.
It can be very tedious renaming assets within engine, especially when only adding prefix and suffix to things. I learned a lot while making this and am very happy to have it part of my tool bag!
