Teaching The Campus About The Core Values of Our Leadership Program
Our leadership program teaches what our school calls P.R.I.D.E ; P-positivity, R- respect, I- integrity, D-dedication, and most importantly E- excellence. Our campus and fellow students are able to see these important values by the way our leaders show their PRIDE. The positive energy they show during all our events and the respect they give their fellow students and faculty , give great examples of P.R; positivity and respect. The honesty they give and the commitment they have to making our campus a good environment show the ability that integrity and dedication can always be used day to day. Furthermore excellence is able to be shown by the outstanding attitudes and energy they came to school with everyday. Our team's goal is to always make everyone feel welcomed and with the fundamentals of PRIDE we are able to exceed the ability to make a welcoming environment for all. Another example on how our school shows PRIDE is by focusing on each letter in the beginning of the school year. We are all able to refresh our minds on our goal, to show PRIDE everyday. Furthermore, as we start off the school year with football season we are always proud to support and show positivity towards our amazing team; we make posters, chant in the bleachers and always shout out all our sports team achievements. We also encourage the excellence shown by our fellow students. We make it tradition to always shine light on excellence during our renaissance rally. During this rally we have grand posters that have names of all our honor roll students and allow each individual to stand up and get a round of applause for the outstanding way they show PRIDE. Also, every morning we start off the day with the morning announcements. We use this opportunity to give a positive quote to inspire and motivate our students. This is very important to us, as it has motivated us in the past, and will hopefully help motivate others who need it. This is why PRIDE is such an important way to show our fundamentals to make our campus feel like a closer community.
