VLA JH SPRING TESTING

TESTING DATES

Spring testing dates are listed below. On testing day, we ask that students arrive to school on time and ready to dive into making our district shine.

Thanks to the hard work of our Cafeteria Staff and the State of Ohio Food Program, all students will be offered a FREE grab and go breakfast on testing days.

ELA Test 1: April 12

ELA Test 2: April 13

Math Test 1: April 20

Math Test 2: April 21

Science 1 (grade 8 only) April 28

Science Test 2 (grade 8 only) April 29

VLA STUDENTS WILL COME INTO THE BUILDING FOR TESTING ON THESE DAYS

What will VLA testing look like?

Your child will be socially distanced for testing. All students and staff will be masked and 3 feet apart or more from each other.

Testing will take place in all student's 1* classroom with their 1* teacher.

Testing will take place on your child's district issued computer.

If your child does not have a district issued computer, one will be issued to be used during testing.

Transportation


VLA students will need to dropped off at the front of the JH between 7:15 - 7:30 on testing days.

It is best to enter the Junior High FRONT parking lot from Wolf Road, drive to the west end of the building and enter the line to drop off your child at the front of the building.

PLEASE PULL UP PAST THE FRONT OF THE DOOR TO MAKE THE LINE GO QUICKLY.

Pick up Directions

VLA students will need be picked up from testing at approximately 9:45 on Math and ELA days. 8th grade VLA students only will need to be picked up at 8:20 on Science testing days.

To help make pick up efficient, 7th grade students will be picked up at the FRONT of the building after testing.

8th grade students will be picked up at the BACK of the building.

You may wait in a parking spot for you child to come to you.

What will my child need on testing days?

Students should arrive at the Junior High with a fully charged, district-issued computer and cord. If you have not been issued a district computer, one will be issued for testing to be used in the building.

Students may carry a backpack with a book to read or something quiet to work on, pencils, paper. Students may carry water bottles.
