The Advanced Placement (AP) Program is one of the options for students in AP US History to earn college credit.  Here is how the AP Program works:

• Students register for courses at through Total Registration (above) in early October

• AP Exam fees are paid through Total Registration 

  • • 2025 AP Exams are $128 each*, plus a small processing fee 

    • Students who are enrolled in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program can apply for a fee reduction when registering 

• Students take AP Exams in early May 

• Based on student performance on the AP Exam**, college credit may be awarded
