Parents will receive four reports throughout the academic year, designed to keep families informed about both academic progress and student development across Middle Phase.
Term 1 - Tracking Report
During Term 1, parents will receive a Tracking Report focused on Attitude to Learning grades. This report is designed to help families understand how students have settled into the academic year, adapted to routines and expectations, and engaged with learning during the first term.
Term 2 - Winter Report
At the end of Term 2, parents will receive the formal Winter Report. This includes Attainment grades and Attitude to Learning grades
Term 3 - Tracking Report
At the end of Term 3, parents will receive a further Tracking Report. This provides an update between the Winter and Summer reports and includes Attainment information and Attitude to Learning information
Term 5 - Summer Report
At the end of the academic year, parents will receive the formal Summer Report. This includes final Attainment grades and Attitude to Learning grades
Alongside formal reports, parents will also have opportunities to discuss progress during Parent Consultation Evenings and through ongoing communication with teachers, tutors, and the Middle Phase team where needed.
In Middle Phase, we place a strong emphasis on communication between home and school. We believe that working together is key to ensuring students feel supported both academically and pastorally throughout their time in Middle Phase. We will keep you updated each week on what is happening in Middle Phase through the Middle Phase Weekly Update for parents.
