Work Experience
Work experience is the short-term placement of secondary school students (1 week for BSE students) with employers to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which you are located. It will provide you with a valuable opportunity to:
develop employability skills
explore possible career options
understand employer expectations
increase your self-understanding, maturity, independence, and self-confidence.
BONUS - don't forget that several students gain employment out of this.
BONUS - even if you already have a job, this can help you gain 'extra' experience that may help you get your next job over someone else!

Dates for your COMPULSORY work experience this year are:
Alexandra + Rosalind = 17th June - 21st June
Fortuna + Shamrock = 29th July - 2nd August
***NOTE: when two Houses are out on work experience, the other two Houses will be at school participating in their compulsory Pathways Week activities of workshops, skill-building, guest speakers, etc
