For our CAS Project, we led a voter registration workshop for CASapalooza on March 9th, 2020. Our voter registration session/rally aimed to engage as many students at BFS as possible. A new law was recently passed allowing people in New York ages 16-17 to pre-register to vote, so all students 16 and older were encouraged to come pre-register to vote. Younger students also learned about the importance of voting during our workshop. We walked everyone through the paperwork process, and registered several students to vote ourselves by mail!
