In my CAS Project workshop, students learned about the Caste system, an unrecognized problem of the world. Students also learned the origin of the term Dalit and what the modern Dalit movement looks like. We discussed where Caste discrimination is found in New York City, why it is so unrecognized, and what young scholars can do to help fight Caste discrimination. This was executed with an interactive learning session.
