Dance serves as a powerful form of communication, transcending linguistic barriers and fostering connections that go beyond words. This universal language of movement can become a bridge that connects individuals from a range of backgrounds, cultures, and languages.
At Branksome Hall Asia, where diversity is celebrated, Dance has become an invaluable tool for fostering understanding and empathy among our students, bringing the community together. Through dance, students not only learn about different cultures and traditions but also develop a profound respect for each other's differences as well as a sense of global citizenship.

Additionally, there are many student-led dance activities covering a range of styles and genres from Contemporary Dance to K-pop, giving students the opportunity to take on leadership roles, collaborate with students in other grades and widen their movement understanding and vocabulary.
Our Dance department comprises one large dance studio and a secondary performance space with sprung floor. In addition we have a dance changing space and dedicated costume room as well as a small group rehearsal space.
