Auditions are coming!
Whether you're picking up music for the first time or you've been singing for years, choir is a space where every voice matters. You'll develop your musical ear through active listening and ear training, learn to read music notation, and build confidence singing harmony by ear.
Repertoire is shaped collaboratively—classical, pop, folk, jazz, or anything in between—so you'll have a real voice in what we sing. For those interested, there are opportunities to explore arranging and music leadership.
Come sing with others, grow as a musician, and make music that's yours!
Grades 6-12
📅 Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm (block 2)
📍 PAC 3A
Provide a 60-90 second video of yourself singing:
1. An ascending and descending scale ie. “do re mi fa sol la ti Do” OR “1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8”
AND
2. A short excerpt of your favorite song to sing. This can be a capella or with a backing track. Make sure your voice can be heard clearly.
This video is simply to give me an idea of how you sing, and will only be used to help guide part assignments, ear training activities, and repertoire choices. I will not be sharing it with anyone or using it beyond this purpose.
If you are not sure what the scale is or what to sing, please contact me!
VIDEO DEADLINE: 19th August 5pm
