We’re excited to invite you to be part of a special performance this term:

A Celebration of Dance

Taking place on Tuesday, 30th September 2025 5:30pm, this event will bring together students from the Junior, Middle, and Senior Schools to celebrate the joy, creativity, and connection of dance.

ALL GRADES are welcome to apply.

This is your opportunity to choreograph and perform your own dance piece and take part in a powerful showcase of student expression and collaboration.

We can’t wait to see your ideas and creativity come to life. Whether you’re creating something brand new or reworking a piece that means something to you — this is your chance to shine.

• Dance pieces that reflect joy, energy, creativity, storytelling, or culture

• All styles welcome – Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Cultural, Musical Theatre, etc.

• You can perform as a solo, in a duet, or as a group

• All rehearsals must take place independently in your own time

To be considered for the show, you must submit a proposal by Monday, 1st September 2025 4:00pm.

Submitting a proposal does not guarantee that your piece will be included in the final performance. All proposals will be reviewed, and only selected pieces will be part of the show.

Your proposal must include:

• Names and year groups of all performers

• A short description of your piece (style, theme, or inspiration)

• Proposed music (this can be confirmed later)

• Estimated performance duration

• JUNIOR SCHOOL ONLY: A short video showing part of your choreography or movement idea
      (This does not need to be a finished piece, but it must show your creative direction and intent)

You will need to:

• Rehearse your piece independently

• Submit a video of your final performance by Monday, 22nd September 2025 4:00pm

• Submit your final music file by Monday, 22nd September 2025 4:00pm

• Proposal Deadline: Monday, 1st September 2025

• Review Period with Ms Biddle: 15th – 22nd September 2025
  (Ms Biddle will be available to view and provide feedback on completed pieces during this week)

• Final Video & Music Submission Deadline: Monday, 22nd September 2025

• Dress Rehearsal: Thursday 25th September 3.30-5.30pm

• Performance Date: Tuesday, 30th September 2025
