Power Of One is all about being able to take hits and do difficult things without giving up. One of the central themes in Star Wars is the idea that "one person in the right place at the right time doing the right thing can bring down an entire system". The explosion of the Death Star is a collective undertaking, but ultimately comes down to just one person—Luke Skywalker—hitting the bullseye. The film examines the ways that heroes make a difference, by stepping up and doing something hard and sacrificing for the sake of a common goal.
These photos are from Olive's very own Ren Rally! Ren rallies help showcase student talents and is a fun event for students to both watch and participate in!
Some of the events that happened in the Ren Rally was the silly string shooting! Students who got As were given spirit shirts and were specially given recognition for excelling in academics! They were also specially given silly string!
Another event was the showcasing of talent! Students; Alison Nguyen, Angela Rangel, Dixianah Cervantes, and Chad Andrei all showcased their talents and provided a spectacular performance!
The Olive Cheer Team also got a chance to perform and did splendidly!
