Olive Middle School is part of Baldwin Park Unified School District. Olive Middle is a Middle School with wonderful staff, and students, that both form to make an outstanding community and opportunity to learn. Olive Middle School was beginning its foundations near the late 1960s.
Olive's first enrollment of students was in 1968, with principal Mr. Rose and assistant principal, Mr. Koch.
Principal's Message (1968 Yearbook):
"The first year of Olive School has been a year of change for all of us we have been housed at three different schools. Many of the staff are new to you, the students. This is just a start of all the changes that you are going to face in the coming years. How well you meet these changes is your responsibility. The school deliberately tried to educate you in such a way that you will be able to change as new and better ways are found. We hope that we are not just teaching you facts, but also teaching you how to learn. If you can learn this, I will not have to wish you luck, you will make your own luck."

Recently, life has been different for everyone. Olive has changed over the course of the years, adapting to help students learn more efficiently. Olive Middle, in present terms, is thriving and has been going strong for over 50 years now! Currently, at 52 years, Olive Middle School is still providing exceptional education and critical learning skills. The future of Olive Middle is still unknown, but what we do know is that Olive Middle School will continue to educate students as best we can. Olive Lancers, better together.
